Welcome to Futures School
We’re a unique “school without walls” with a 20-year history of providing customized one-on-one special education programs and services for students 14-21 in their own home community within Connecticut. Since 1989, we’ve been working with students with challenging behavioral disorders and other cognitive or developmental disabilities, including complex learning disorders, autism and acquired brain injuries. We are proud that the State Department of Education approved Futures as Connecticut’s first community-based Accredited Special Education School in accordance with the Standards of Private Special Education Programs.
When traditional programs just don’t work, we’re here for you, offering the educational choices, opportunities, and flexibility to make success a reality for every student.
